Roses Are Red…
but not all the time!
A few Saturdays ago, my friend and I went to visit the Sydney Flower Market. Just like most flower markets, we had to get up very early in the morning (supposedly) to get the freshest and loveliest-looking flowers. And as a flower-crazy girl like me, this place has taken my excitement level towards the roof! I wish I took more photos but I was busy chatting with my friend about her wedding decoration.
Here are some photos of my favorite flowers, and, some odd-looking ones haha
Ahh, peonies! These beautiful bunches of flowers greeted me at the market entrance. They are one of my favorite flowers if not THE favorite. I love how fluffy and tender they look. Don’t you just love them, too?
It’s funny how we planned to get to the markets early to buy fresh flowers, but I ended up buying bunches of “old” carnations. I’ve always liked carnations in full bloom. It’s no wonder I still bought them even though some of the petals were about to fall off. haha But, hey, it’s only $2 per bunch!
Roses aren’t always red! haha Interesting but I’m not a really big fan of artificially-colored flowers (I think they are). What do you think of these?
Another stunning bloom and again, one of my favorites…phalaenopsis! (If I were a florist, I would definitively suggest this to my brides!)
And to prove that it makes a gorgeous bouquet… (haha)

That’s it for now! I hope you enjoyed the flowers, or at least the photos. Have a wonderful week ahead.
